Easy Switching 4 Working Modes
Autel PS100 Power Circuit Probe Kit support four working modes: DC voltage, AC voltage, Resistance and Tone On/Off. In AC voltage, PS100 can read the Max. voltage, the Min. voltage, frequency and duty cycle; In Resistance mode, it reads the resistance between the tip and auxiliary ground lead. In Tone On/Off, you can turn off the annoying noise when the tool will be connected to circuits for a long time. Quick switching among 4 modes by pressing mode button.
Compnent Activation Function
Autel PS100 support component activation in 3 different scenario: in the hand, in the vehicle & with ground. By generating activation signals for the components, you can judge whether the components are in good condition, such as lights, motors, wipers, radiator fans, relays, and fuel injectors, etc. You can also use Autel PS100 circuit checker to find bad ground contact. The response of LED lights can intuitively tell you whether it's true ground.
Polarity Quick Identification
In just a few seconds, Autel PS100 can checks component continuity and identifies positive, negative and open circuits. When the positive terminal is connected, the red LED light is on, accompanied by a beep. When the negative terminal is connected, the green LED lights up, along with low pitched tone. If it is an open circuit, the LED light will not light.
Overload Protection Quick Self-Test
Autel PowerScan PS100 is short-circuit protected. Its internal circuit breaker will trip if it becomes overloaded. The circuit breaker is a valuable test tool as well as a safety measure to protect the tool from overload. To protect your components, Autel PS100 can also perform a quick self-test. After flipping the switch forward or backward, the LED light and tone will respond to quickly check its actual operating status.
